Supporting Children’s Wellbeing: Introducing ‘My Friend’ – A Groundbreaking App for Schools and Parents

Naturally we always want the best for all children around the world. When sending our own children to school is no different, where we hope that they will be provided with the best support, in both education and care.
As a parent or carer, we rely on the schools to provide their education but also thorough pastoral care, with the hope that they have the facility and capability to look after the wellbeing needs of our children.
This is where Strategia Data Sciences can help. With the solution that we’re developing called ‘My Friend’ our aim is to assist and support schools in providing accessible and timely care for the children that need it through the App, with a friendly avatar that we believe will provide the child with an understanding or providing the building blocks for coping skills and communicative knowledge.
The avatar is non-threatening, a comfort and a support option that the child can converse with, just as they would a friend, but importantly with no pushback or negative outcomes.
‘My Friend’ will also help Parents and Carers with the knowledge that the avatar is providing this additional care and support with sensitivity and objectivity for their children.
Our journey has begun as we move into our Alpha testing phase, with school pilots being made ready as part of our Beta testing models.
